Dear Guests of Natura cottages,
Kindly note - the telephone signal around our premises is very weak. Please
add the Wi-Fi details for our hi-speed network to your device so that you
can follow our check-in instructions.

Important Tip
When on the main street of Makrigialos, turn inland at the hotel "Villea Village” and follow the river.
(Google maps - link for turn by the river)
If you are coming from Ierapetra (west) you turn left at Villea Village hotel.
If you are coming towards Sitia (East) you turn right at Villea Village hotel.
You continue under the bridge
Please park your car always at the parking of Natura Cottages.
(You are welcome to drop off your luggage at the beginning of our path, 50 meters further down the road)
Please park in a way that you take space for one car, so there is space for all guests.
Kindly note that there are garbage & and recycle bins placed in the parking area.
(recycle bin is for all paper, glass & plastic)
If you are staying at Lithospito, it is on your right-hand side a few meters further down the road, it has space for your car at the entrance if you wish to park there.
If you are staying at all the other cottages, you are welcome to drop off your luggage at the beginning of our path and take the car back to the parking space afterwards.

While turning left you will see a private veranda with a small wooden door, that is "Kelari”cottage.
Following the path on your right, you will first see the private garden and then “Bamboo”cottage.
Continuing on the path, on your left is our shared washing machine wooden cupboard.
For the washing machine cupboard you will find the key in the ceramic pot next to it.. please make sure to close the door well every time you use it, as we get strong winds.
If you wish to use our washing machine, please use one of the tablets as well as cloth detergent powder, all provided.
At the washing machine cupboard you will also find essential cleaning supplies in case needed.

The key box is next to the door, the key box code will be provided in a private message.
Inside the key box there are two pair of keys. Please keep one in there in case you lock yourself out!
As we do not have a reception, it will be difficult for someone to come and open up for you. Usually, there is an extra fee for that.
We do not have a reception, but we offer a “web reception” we are always available and online for our guests. So please feel free to contact us if there is anything you need , we will be more than happy to assist.

As we are surrounded by Nature we can have a problem by attracting different animals
Please be careful not to leave any food around and make sure to empty your food rubbish frequently.
Please DO NOT feed cats!!!! Local cats usually carry flees, that can be terrible for our cottages, If found responsible for bringing flees etc. in to the homes, you risk of getting charged a professional biological cleaning fee. $$-$$$
We have a very strict policy for pets, as we have returning guests who are allergic to animals.
Check-in: 15:00 -20:00 (late night check-in is available, extra fee applies €12 after 21.00)
When using our auto check-in method, the late night fee does not apply.
Check out: up to 11:00
All properties are strictly non-smoking, although people can smoke in the garden & the outside space.
You will be responsible for all items in the house during your stay. Any damages or breakages to the house, its contents or in the common areas will be charged directly to you. Note if there is accidental damage to tableware, linen etc we will not charge.
Please do not leave important personal belongings or valuables items in the guest room. The hotel is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of cash, jewelry or other valuables left in guest rooms. You can leave these valuable items in the safety boxes for your convenience.
Any lost property will be held for 7 days and then will be donated to charity.
​When entering or leaving the house (and whilst staying in the house) please do so with consideration for others and do not disturb the neighbours or give any cause for complaint.
When leaving the house please make sure that all windows, doors & air-conditions are closed.
Please DO NOT THROW PAPER TOWELS, FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS, OR TRASH IN THE TOILET. All disposal must be thrown at the basket.
Our cottages are 300 years old and our septic system cannot tolerate sand - hair - paper & garbage
