Piperia Tavern (Pefki village)
Mountain tavern - Recommended for sunset time.
Piperia Taverna is a traditional family-run restaurant situated in the tranquil mountain village of Pefki offering breathtaken views, approximately 7 km from Makry Gialos, about 15 minutes drive from Natura
Tip1. Visit sunset time and take a walk at the alleys of the village Tip2. You can hike Pefki gorge starting from Natura cottages and reach Pefki village and the restaurant.

Κaliotzina (Koutsouras village)

Kaliotzina Tavern is a traditional family-run taverna located in Koutsouras, near Makry Gialos just 5 minutes drive from Natura. Open daily during the summer season, it offers authentic Cretan cuisine prepared with fresh local ingredients and served in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Hiona Taverna (Near Vai beach)

If you’re planning a visit to the eastern part of Crete and seeking an authentic seaside dining experience, Chiona Beach Tavern is a must-visit destination. Located just over an hour’s drive from Natura Cottages, this family-run establishment has been serving traditional Cretan cuisine since 1964.
Tip: Reserve always a table and ask for a table on the rocks
